It has been proven time and time again that investor results are more dependent on investor behavior than on fund performance. That’s right… the longer you hold your quality investments, the better your odds of getting the performance you seek. My gift to you this week is a copy of the Dalbar’s Quantitative Analysis of Investor Behavior which you can download here for your reference. You’ll see in an easy to read format why most investors don’t make money on their investment portfolio. Either they are moving their money to frequently or they are moving to a new advisor who is moving their money to frequently. Either one you pay the price for. In just a few weeks I am going to be introducing to you a new technology that we are going to be offering free of charge to anyone, whether they be a client or a perspective client, it’s called WealthGuard. It’s a new technology that addresses this very issue and allows you to sleep well at night knowing that your funds are secure and there is a Plan B if things start going bad. Next time you talk to your broker… ask him/her what their Plan B is if the market starts to go south. I’ll share more details about WealthGuard in the coming weeks. In the meantime, one other thing to consider while you read… I know a lot of investors who express interest in Indexed annuities but
also express their dislike for “tying their money up” for a long period of time. First of all, if you are properly allocated and have sufficient liquidity, the tying your money up argument doesn’t stand up. Second, I can’t tell you how many people are relieved knowing that their principal is completely protected and their funds are soaring with uncapped returns. After reading this article you might just consider it might be wise to tie some money up for a while… who knows, you might just see the returns you are looking for. Thanks so much for your attention and I hope you learn something of value. If there is anything I can do to help, please call me direct at 561.798.3277 or call or text my cell at 561.352.5960.
